Shipping policy

1. International Target Markets & Delivery Zones

We partner with premium global logistics networks (including ShipGlobal) to fulfill and dispatch orders from India to our core international destinations:

  • United States

  • United Kingdom

  • Australia

2. Processing and Order Fulfillment Timelines

  • Standard Processing Window: All non-customized, in-stock orders are processed, packed, and transferred to our international shipping carriers within 3 to 5 business days from payment authorization.

  • Peak Periods: Processing durations may extend slightly during high-volume periods, product vault launches, or festive seasons.

  • Orders are not packed, dispatched, or transferred to transit hubs on national holidays or weekends.

3. Estimated Transit Timelines

Once your order leaves our fulfillment hub in India and enters the international carrier network, the estimated delivery timelines are as follows:

  • United States: 7–12 business days

  • United Kingdom: 7–10 business days

  • Australia: 8–14 business days

  • Note: These timelines are operational estimates provided by our logistics partners. Actual delivery dates may vary based on localized courier routes, regional flight capacities, and custom clearance speeds.

4. Custom Duties, Import Tariffs, and Local Taxes

  • Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU): All international orders are shipped on a strictly DDU basis. The retail prices listed on Kapda Studio are entirely exclusive of foreign custom duties, import taxes, local VAT/GST, or destination courier clearance administration fees.

  • Buyer Liability: It is the sole structural and legal responsibility of the buyer (the importer of record) to pay any localized duties or customs tariffs directly to the destination border authorities or courier representative upon entry into the destination country.

  • We cannot calculate or pre-pay these charges. Failure to pay assessed import tariffs will result in shipment delays, abandonment, or return loops, the cost of which will be completely borne by the buyer.

5. Consignment Tracking and Courier Handoff

  • Every international shipment is assigned a distinct tracking number tied directly to your Air Waybill (AWB).

  • Upon courier handover, an automated shipping confirmation email containing your tracking link will be transmitted to your registered email address.

  • Please allow up to 24 to 48 hours for the initial carrier scan data to update on the live logistics tracking portal.

6. Risk Allocation, Lost Consignments, and Unclaimed Packages

  • Title Transfer: The legal title and full risk of product loss or damage transfer entirely to the buyer the moment the shipment is scanned and accepted by our third-party logistics provider.

  • Incorrect Addresses: Kapda Studio is not financially or operationally liable for failed deliveries caused by inaccurate shipping addresses, missing suite numbers, or incorrect contact details provided by the buyer during checkout.

  • Unclaimed Shipments: If a shipment is returned to our warehouse due to multiple failed delivery attempts by the local courier, or due to the customer failing to claim the package from the local post depot, the total return freight charge and warehouse entry costs will be deducted from any eventual store credit or partial refund.
